We will release a patch later today. The template version has been changed in the latest WooCommerce update.

Just to avoid confusion, this is very likely due to WP update rather than Avada. WP recently updated their core tinymce set-up.

This string is part of the Avada language files as mentioned by revans0636. For translating Avada please check the documentation. In particular, if you are not seeing the string then it means the language files need updated (also covered in documentation).

As always please check this with plugins disabled. Also please note that it sounds like you are experiencing different issues.

For Sneakyman it sounds like you have this problem https://theme-fusion.com/forums/topic/impossible-to-update-a-post-or-page-after-update-avada-5-5-2/ Which will be due to a plugin and the new WP version (not Avada update as keeps being mentioned)

For docedesign that sounds like a PHP or JS error. Again most likely a plugin or in Fusion Builder > Settings not having the builder enabled for all post types.

As I said, if you think it is a bug then you can report it via the contact form. If it really is a bug then it will be fixed in the theme.

Secondly, as I already explained, you will need to supply a website address or at the very least more information about the problem if you expect other people to be able to help. If you don’t then there simply is not enough information to help you.

Finally, we have not “nuked all the old documentation”. We removed outdated and largely misinformed and misleading information from the old community forum. The official documentation is still there and can be accessed. Additionally, nobody is forcing paid support on you. If you purchased before the paid support was introduced (by Envato, not by us) then we still offer free support. Then if you purchased after paid support was introduced then this was clearly stated in the terms of the purchase.

Please post a website address, otherwise it is impossible to say what the problem is. If you do believe it to be a bug you can also report it via the contact form, however if you are going to do that please also provide full information.

    Hi all,

The Google Map implementation has not been changed in the latest update. What is changing, is the way Google handles APIs (credit card is becoming necessary and grandfathered support for no API key removed). Which is not something that we have any control over.

As always, if you require support we can only offer that via the official support ticketing system. However if you can post a website URL I should be able to tell you the problem (or things to check for at the very least).

    Hi Chris,

    1. No, that code would have to go in a child theme. If you are not experienced with that then I would suggest using translation instead. Details on how to translate the theme and plugins can be found in the documentation section of the website.

    2. The privacy page is the standard way to set the page in WordPress. You do not have to use the example content given by WordPress, you can just select whatever page you have already created and the link will then be correct. I will also add a note to our developer list about adding a check to make sure a link is selected before adding this but it will likely not be added until next theme release.

    3. Again, that should not be the case, but without more information it is impossible to say. If you require support please use the form on https://theme-fusion.com/support/submit-a-ticket/ as the forum here is not an official method of support.

A text area in the Theme Options is a possible future addition depending on demand. However, that would prevent automatically linking to the privacy policy page and in general the usual method for text changes is via translation.

There is a contact page where you can submit bugs @twistedoast.

Regarding the plugin downloads that should work, but may require multiple attempts because the Envato API is currently having some problems regarding the large number of updates. Note, the update process wasn’t changed in 5.5.2 so updating the plugin on 5.5.2 and 5.5.1 are no different.

This option is only for the contact page template form. Please ensure that you are checking on the contact page template and not another type of form like Contact Form 7.

    1. This can be translated using the language files or a filter – https://gist.github.com/mikka23/9f615f5304736a9319968e2bc4658824 (if translating make sure to apply patch first)
    2. This is the privacy policy page in the latest WordPress. Go to Settings > Privacy and set a page here. Then make sure to save the page.
    3. The elements should load directly without the need for a page load (although may depend on how exactly you have your page setup). If not for you, please create a support ticket so a member of staff can investigate.

    Hi revans0636,

I am not sure of the motive or purpose behind your mocking tone or excessive complaints, but please stop. The spam has been noted by our staff and extra checks have been added. If you have further problems or bugs that you would like to raise, please do so without the further embellishments or sarcasm.

    Thanks
