    I’m not aware, though it would be great if there was a way built in. In the past, I used this plugin to exclude specific pages from search https://wordpress.org/plugins/search-exclude/. It worked well but you have to be diligent about maintaining it.

    The selections you made in theme options should stay the same. I’ve done a dozen updates on Avada without a child and nothing broke. That’s with the point releases. I remember some large releases, I believe 4.0, did make me have to fix some things. But that was a big deal back then.

    Either of you have luck yet? I’m trying to do the same thing.

    I’ve been getting 520 errors on other sites, like my hosting site, and the theme forest site. I’ve had WP be sluggish from time to time, but I thought the errors were weird. They seem to bring up Cloudflare, and I checked on their status and it seems to be fine on their end. I was wondering if there was some kind of weird outage.

    New update:

    If you make posts 100% width, all the global ‘widgets’ or sections at the bottom are full width, as I mentioned before (author bio, related posts, etc.) To fix this, support gave me CSS to restrict these globally controlled sections so they don’t go full browser width:

    .fusion-meta-info, .fusion-sharing-box.fusion-single-sharing-box.share-box, section.about-author, section.related-posts, .comment-respond, .akismet_comment_form_privacy_notice {
    max-width: 1100px;
    margin: 20px auto;
    padding: 0 15px;
    }

    My new problem, for some reason, is that the 100% content width option isn’t showing up on new PAGES anymore. That is so weird, I think it’s a bug….

    Update – after speaking with avada support, there is no way to do this, even with CSS. I’m greatly disappointed, since this is a very common trend in blogs these days.
    The alternative is to make the Post pages set to 100% interior width globally and then select ‘site width’ for all containers except the one I want to have a full width image.
    However, that makes all the global settings full width – including meta, related posts, comments, etc. That just looks horrible. That certainly isn’t the way to go. I’m wondering if I can control these global attributes to be site width, despite setting the post page settings to 100% width. Anyone have experience with this?
    I’m bummed that just a simple option of making a container 100% width isn’t doable on Posts like it is Pages. It’s just so common these days. I submitted a feature request using the button on the sidebar. I encourage you to do the same if you want this feature enabled.

    Did you come up with a solution for this? I run into this from time to time and either hide certain boxes on mobile, or sacrifice design for it. I think creating two different versions might be your only hope.

    Did you get an answer? This might be something you should submit as a feature request. (There’s a button on the bottom of the sidebar on this page)

    My guess is that it’s quite possible they will come out with that one day, but since this is a really new feature it’s basically version 1.0 right now.

    in reply to: Avada Multisite #460061

    Hi,
    I just started developing a new multisite. This is my first one, but I’ve created 4 sites so far, all using Avada. I installed the required plugins at the network level and didn’t have to do it for each site. It also seems like I only have to apply patch updates once, and it updates all the other sites too, which is handy!

    I actually purchased a privacy policy from iubenda, where i added all the services we use. It allows you to add Google Fonts into your policy and it does all the work of writing it for you. I got the iubenda plugin for the cookie policy too, and it was so much easier than doing it myself. So far it’s working fine with Avada.

    I think I know what this may be. Click on theme options > blog > blog single post. Look for the setting ‘post title’ and disable it.
