New this week I am getting reports from some website visitors that they are seeing question marks and random characters (as shown here) on some of my web pages, such as this one and this one. It seems to be limited to Safari on Macs – though I don’t see the issue myself with Safari on my Mac.
What could this be? Has something changed in a recent update to Avada?
Thank you!
I take part of this back – it’s not limited to Safari on Macs – one visitor is using Chrome on Windows.
Hi @l_shoe
Firstly to clarify, you have valid support and our support team does not provide theme support via this community forum, it is intended for user to user interaction only.
The issue in your screenshot shows that there could potentially be a web server encoding issue or it is cache related, please double check:
– With your host that your web server’s encoding is set to utf-8.
– Your website cache is configured correctly
Now saying that, I and one of our developers checked your site and it is perfect in all web browsers. Your screenshot shows you are on an iPad, and using browserstack to test, it does show up on an older iPad platform, make sure your iPad is running the latest IOS as well.
Our team is happy to help out and walk you through any questions you have simply submit a support ticket.
