I updated today from 5.1.1 to 5.6.2, and now the site is broken. When I go to the site, I get:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method Fusion_Helper::fusion_auto_calculate_accent_color() in /home/lawyerst/public_html/trademarkit/wp-content/themes/Avada/includes/upgrade/class-avada-upgrade-552.php on line 143

I reviewed all of the update notes between 5.1.1 to the latest, and there were no particular special instructions or notices. So, I’m not sure what happened. The update gave me a success notification.

    Hi mgerity,

Sorry for the problems. This is a problem specific to the version you are updating from. Please refer to the comments in this thread for how to update with that version – https://theme-fusion.com/forums/topic/updated-to-5-5-2-resulted-in-this-fatal-error/

I will also add a to-do item for adding this to our update notes.

Thank you so much for the rapid response–that worked perfectly.

Yes, it would be good to get that issue added to the update notes. I actually did what I was supposed to do and read through all of those before my update. ;o)

Thanks again. I’m back up and running!

    Hello There

Please try and reinstall the theme using FTP method and save Theme Options once again, refresh the page and check again, if however the issue persists you can always open a support ticket and our team will get back to you as this is not a known issue and shouldn’t happen on update.
