    I’m also puzzeled with this.
    My functions.php has this (it’s an exact copy of the functions.php of a newly downloaded Avada pack).

    <?php

    function theme_enqueue_styles() {
        wp_enqueue_style( 'child-style', get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . '/style.css', [] );
    }
    add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'theme_enqueue_styles', 20 );

    function avada_lang_setup() {
    	$lang = get_stylesheet_directory() . '/languages';
    	load_child_theme_textdomain( 'Avada', $lang );
    }
    add_action( 'after_setup_theme', 'avada_lang_setup' );

    Still my child css file is loaded before the main fusion.css, thus being overridden.

    How can I fix this (without having to use !important in every CSS rule).

    Kind regards,
    Viktor

    Hello @viktor_f

    Can you please check your critical CSS and also try to regenerate it ?
    Also try disabling CSS compiler and see if that helps, clear any caches if you are using any 3rd party plugin(s)

    Thanks

    I couldn’t figure out why the child theme stylesheet was being ignored. I finally decided to Google my problem, and this came up. Thank you for posting the fix.
