    Dear all,

    I know the Avada theme is very extensive when it comes to customization. Most of the elements can be customized via the Avada theme options. I created a new homepage on https://zuiderburen.com/wordpress/ which starts with a blog in grid form.
    When you click on tread more to go to the single post page you can see there is not background of the post. you can only see the page background image. I would like to have a white background for the blog post. Where can I change this in the theme options. I assume this should be possible, but I cannot find whereto adjust it.
    I know it is possible via custom css, but if it is possible in the theme option I prefer this.
    Thanks for your support.

    Hi FSC Jansen,

    If you scroll down the page you find the Fusion Page Options – Background – Background Color for Main Content. This option controls the background color for the main content area.

    It looks like it doesn’t work correct. I have moved the page to https://zuiderburen.com/wordpress/nieuws/, but the whole background is white and not only the content area. Please see my setting in the screenshots in below hyperlinks:

    Hi Gabi,

    I havebeen doing some more research and I think your suggestion covers the whole content area including sidebar or an collumn added. I would like to have a background for the post (title and message) alone.

    Hi,

    Zou je dit willen proberen in de custom CSS:

    .fusion-blog-layout-medium .fusion-post-medium, .fusion-blog-layout-medium .fusion-post-medium-alternate, .fusion-blog-layout-medium-alternate .fusion-post-medium, .fusion-blog-layout-medium-alternate .fusion-post-medium-alternate {

    background-color: #fff;
    padding: 20px;

    }

    @gabi2
    this is exactly what I was looking for as well! And I don’t even speak Dutch, or Holländisch 😀

    Just had to modify it and use large, instead of medium.

    Is there something like a in-depth description of the Avada theme, where I could read up this kind of stuff – as it’s not possible to edit it via the editor.

    Thanks, you’ve made my day! 🙂

    (Or rather night…)

    PS: I’ve just noticed this effect is only visible on the homepage, not the blog-post. Could you please post the custom CSS to make the blog-post look exactly like that? Thanks!

    PPS: I figured it out on my own.
    I’m running sites since ages, yet I never, ever bothered to use CSS. But just to make sure,
    I’ve used this:

    .post {

    background-color: #ffffff;
    padding: 20px;

    }

    Seems to do the job! 🙂

    Hi Wazze,

    I’m glad you found it!

    I use Firefox, Tools > Web Developer > Inspector from the Menu Bar
    to find the Class Name to adjust the CSS.(http://tiny.cc/rnahcz)
