    Hi all, great this PWA functionality in the latest update!
    Really!
    I have switched on the PWA settings, but when I visit the site at a mobile device (I tested multiple) I never get the “add to home screen”

    I tested multiple devices, all android, so should work I think.
    Anybody have some tips?

    I have the same problem too. I activated and customized the PWA plugin, but the tests with Android mobile … nothing happens. For the tests I used Google Chrome.
    I followed the instructions given in the pages of themefusion … I forget maybe some pass?

    Hi finalcut47,

    Please be aware – you have grandfathered support. If you still have problems setting up the PWA, please submit a support ticket from – https://theme-fusion.com/support/submit-a-ticket/

    Thanks

    Hi Finalcut47, my support is over unfortunately. So if you have some answers please post them here, it would help me as well.

    Thanks

    Hi Alex Ander,

    Just to add. Your website does work correctly for me in android. However, the translation alert from Google mostly covers up the banner for the ‘add to Home screen” prompt.

    I have the exact same problem.

    It would be great if Theme Fusion could update the knowledge base with some more information on how to set this up.

    Thanks MichaelC. If you have time can you post a screenshot? As I do not see it myself (also not the google translate button).

    Thanks

    Sure, a couple screenshots to show with the translation bar removed and active – https://imgur.com/a/qESmA6v

    Note, it appears when scrolling up on the site (eg, scroll down then back up to top and it will appear).

    All right. Solved by the talented technicians of ThemeFusion (Shaminder). In my case the problem was caused by the shape of the icon (jpg and not PNG). Now the documentation has already been updated.
    Thank you

    Hi

    I found the solution…

    I use a static content subdomain.

    I extended following code with the “png” in my .htaccess and now it´s working fine.

    # Apache config
    <FilesMatch “.(eot|ttf|otf|woff|woff2|png)”>
    Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin “*”
    </FilesMatch>

    best regards!
