Portfolio image rollover

Hey,

I am trying to use the portfolio only as a “image gallery”. I am trying to find a way to disable the single page post link when hovering the mouse over to portfolio images. I only would like to keep the magnifying glass to open the image in larger version and remove any links to portfolio single post pages, categories etc..

If anyone has any good tips if and how this could be done, would be much appreciated! 😉

I am trying to this very thing but have not had any luck using that custom css. Were there any other settings you needed to change to make that work?

Regardless what I try, I cannot remove the link to the single portfolio item nor remove the rollover.
