Picture off high quality fades in low quality

Hi,
I am using the Classic template of Avada. In de Home page you have a picture with text and 2 buttons with “Get started today” and “Discover more”.
I simply change this picture to one off my own, with a large picture 1430×961 and 96dpi. But the picture is viewed as low picture quality.

Been searched several hours now and searched but cant find why this is happens of how to fix this.

Can someone please help me?

I took a moment away from my desktop and was thinking that even if I have added a large scale picture. The website could have changed it.
I came to find out that when selecting the picture to upload it. That in the down right corner it was on default on 300×300. Why to small.

The only think that I still have issue with is the shadow in the top left corner. I need to remove that and the picture is on the bottom not straight.
