Non Full Screen Lightbox For Gallery Display

Hi,

I was wondering if it was possible to have a gallery start in lightbox, but not full screen, so the first image is large and with the remaining images in the gallery as thumbnails beneath it.

Perhaps I should ask, can the lightbox be used automatically for a gallery and within a fixed box?

If not, can you suggest another plugin I might use to achieve this effect please?
