    Hello.
I would like to do the following:

In my home page i have a Revolution Slider (one slide) with a button.
Also i have placed a Modal in the home page with a contact form shortcode inside.

How can i set the Button of the Revolution Slider to open the Modal?

    Thank you for your time

Hello, I have this question too, any answer?
I have some modals on my website, but I want to show up these on image click in revolution slider.
    How do I trigger? Like that: <a class="" target="_blank" href="#" data-toggle="modal" data-target=".test">test</a>

    Hey everybody…
after a lot of research I made it happen. This video helped a lot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpjuhGPLEKA
Even though it uses a different shortcode, I was able to adapt it to Avada.

    This is what i did:
    1. Build the modal, name it “yourname”
    2. Build a Rev Slider with a button
    3. As button text use:
    [fusion_modal_text_link name="yourname"]your button text[/fusion_modal_text_link]
    4. drag the button size to display “your button text”
    5. save and enjoy

    Hope it works for you.

Awesome! It worked for me. But I actually text modal link in a separate page and then copy pasted the code into the button on the revolution slider!!

How would we do this without the Fusion shortcode and perhaps making a button within the slider and using the action call back to the modal on the avada page?

I’d like to use the callback function within slider revolution’s Action to call the modal on the AVADA page. I’ve been looking for the javascript function to do this but to no avail. Any help.

As an alternative, you can use the entire Rev Slider as the modal trigger. This can be accomplished with the Modal Text / HTML Link element.

    On the Avada page:

    1. Create new Modal Text / HTML Link.
    2. In the “Name of Modal” field, enter in the name you have assigned to the modal you wish to open (ex. your-modal).
    3. In the “Text or HTML code” field, enter in the the Rev Slider shortcode (ex. [rev_slider alias=”your-modal”][/rev_slider]).

This will activate the entire slider as a trigger area, when clicked.

This only seems to work, while logged into WordPress.
