menu items open up external links in new tab??

Hello, I have a donate ‘button’ menu item on my site and need it to open in a separate tab because it is an external link but do not see any option to do this. Is there a way to open custom menu links in separate tabs?

Have tried opening your Screen Options to enable the Link Target setting for your menu items?
