Menu icons disappearing after Mega Menu entry

Hello everyone!
I’m writing here to ask for a problem I have since a bit of time, but never been able to solve it on my own.

Simply put, the icons (and other customizations) are disappearing when put after a Mega Menu entry.

Here’s the menu as it is now:

The “Catalogo” entry is the one with the Mega Menu.
Setting the icons and saving does actually nothing.

Here’s instead what happens when I move the “Catalogo” entry at the end of the menu (and setting the icons, etc):

Of course, as soon as I move the now at the end entry back up, it goes as it was before:

Sometimes the entry also loses the Mega Menu status, but I have not been able to reproduce it for now.

What can I do?

Hello There

Please see if your max_input_vars value needs to be increased, if the value is in red please increase it following the instructions given inside the system status.

Hello Ammar,
it was the max_input_vars value. It was not in red but I tried raising it to a huge number nonetheless and that fixed the issue.
