    My page has a separate containers with content for mobile. On these mobile pages the container menu anchor works fine, though the menu anchor element does not work, it always scrolls to the top of the page. The containers have the same content as the ones for PC except for the formatting of the text.

    I solved the issue. The anchor ID appeared twice on the page (for PC and mobile) and since the PC container comes first it did not scroll on the mobile version. Lame that WP does not handle this.
