Issues in updating from Avada 6.2.2 to 7.6.1 with PHP update from 5.8.3 to 7.x.x

Hi,

It’s been a while I could not update WordPress plugins themes etc.

Now I am afraid If I update it, something will break and I will not be able to figure it out.

Just wanted to know If anybody has any clue, should I update directly or what to be careful about, the website holds a lot of content and pages.

Any suggestions are welcomed.

My functions.php in Child theme is ignored since the last update.
It is still on the server but not included.
This means additional sidebars menu widgets for pages are gone.

Hello Everyone

We can assure you that there is no issue updating from 6.2.2 to 7.6.1 even while using the latest version of PHP, I am personally running version 7.4 without any issues, can you please try to update after creating a backup once, if something comes up please open a support ticket with our team.
