Interior Design Demo not Installing

My PHP limits are set well past what Avada recommends, its the only demo I have a problem installing…

We have given an alternate method to our customers to install the demos as well, if your demo installation is not working please simply follow the instructions here to import the demo manually => https://theme-fusion.com/documentation/avada/prebuilt-websites/alternate-import-method/

But what is wrong with your prebuilt import? Alternate method is not very convinient. You have to change all settings after that. Admin emails, user names, time zone, language. This is not very good.

It definitely did not stop working at all, the automatic import method works all fine and good for our demos and there should be no issues at all, if you are facing any issue with the demo import that simply means there is some issues with the server and the alternate method needs to be used in such cases.

Hello everyone,
I think it is a server thing. I noticed that sometimes on some servers everything is imported, all pictures, texts etc.
With some servers it does not work smoothly. Not all content is imported. Only the settings and no pages and pictures. I don’t know is maybe an input.

Hello everyone,
So I installed again on each server an empty WordPress, clean one without plugins and installed Avada and tried to import. It must be due to some MySQL, Apache version. I have now reproduced the error, the import does not work on all servers.
On my LiteSpeed server the import works. I don’t get an error, maybe a debug log would be good.
The import on the Apache server works very fast. On the LiteSpeed server it takes longer and it stalls a bit, but everything is fine.
I offer myself, if any data is needed by the development team. I can provide information. Do you need any data?

Broke the site completely. It imported the demo fine. Managed to login but no admin user rights to the WordPress dashboard? Went to CPanel to fix it and all the admin rights settings for the user profile are wrong.

a:1:{s:13:”administrator”;b:1;}

Is the parameter for all my other site admin rules and rights.

a:2:{s:13:”administrator”;s:1:”1″;s:13:”bbp_keymaster”;b:1;}

This is what the import defaults to in WP users and WP usermeta when importing with the alternative method.

However it can’t be simply changed in one section as Avada theme has different parameters for different plugins and admin access rules.

Looking at the usermeta data with some permissions I can see some old themes that have been marked as “dismissed” Not sure if this has a bearing?

Anyway, I have rolled back the installation to a previous back up version and have access to the dashboard now but I would really like to know how to solve this problem and get the demo to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and as you can see from the above I am not a techie person.

Just trying to work things out.

Same issue – all my server limits are way past what Avada recommends, still cannot import Interior. Frustrating when you keep being told to check limits that are not the problem.

Has anyone found a fix for this issue? The alternate method says to use the backup files below but there is no link to the backup files.
