just recently the Avada live builder won’t let me save anything.
I Still can save stuff in the normal page options, but in the Avada live builder the
save bar is somehow disabled.
I did some patches recently and updated to the newest WordPress and Avada version.
Anybody having the same issues?ashafizullahParticipantJanuary 4, 2021 at 10:51 pmPost count: 3
Try to delete cache browser, and try to close browser and open againAmmar. SKeymasterJanuary 5, 2021 at 10:43 amPost count: 2234marianmertezParticipantJanuary 5, 2021 at 7:02 pmPost count: 3
Hi thanks for the recommendations.
Deleting all the browser cache solves the problem for a short period of time.
As soon as I reload the page or safe and then reload the page I again can’t safe any new changes.
I disabled several plugins. However the problem persists.
I get the impression that this problem first arised when I installed the patches: #418553 and #418556.
Is there any way to undo these patches, so I could check whether these create the problem.
The Problem is pretty annoying as I’m somehow blocked to work.Ammar. SKeymasterJanuary 6, 2021 at 9:15 amPost count: 2234
You an always reinstall theme completely fresh and that will remove the patched files, that means you need to first remove the files from Appearance > Themes section and then install them again once using the freshly downloaded Avada from your ThemeForest account.

Please try disabling all your 3rd party plugin(s) and also please try reinstall a fresh version of Avada, make an export of your Avada Global Options and then reset them, check if the saving works fine then.

Please check the extensions installed on your FireFox in this case and also try reinstalling it once please, appears to be an issue with your browser specifically as saving works fine with FireFox.

I once deactivated all add-ons in Firefox, after deactivating Avast Online Security it worked as it should. I’m just wondering what a virus program is preventing the Avada live builder from working properly

That is probably because of some FireFox extension that you have installed that might be causing the issue? I will strongly suggest you to try this from another browser such as Chrome or Safari if you have it installed.

I have the same problem. Boy did I lose a lot of work doing things over 10 times hoping Avada Live builder would actually save changes.Ammar. SKeymasterFebruary 11, 2021 at 7:57 amPost count: 2234
There should be no losing of work at all there, whatever you save with Avada Builder should be saved fine and good, with that being said please double check all your plugins and extensions and check again once please, also please enable wp_debug() on your wp-config.php file to see if you see any error or notice please.

Hello @simaem and the dev team!
I have the same problem with the latest version of Firefox (87.0). On Chromium-based Edge it works fine, so this is problem seems to be pinpointed to Firefox as stated above as well. I did a fresh install of Firefox with no extensions or cache and the problem still existed, so this isn’t an issue caused by browser extensions.
I can edit the design just fine, but I am unable to save any page containers and their contents when using the live editor. It shows a green success mark when saving, but when I refresh the editor or go to the page I just edited, all the changes have been lost. The traditional editor (wp-admin/post.php?post=XXXX&action=edit) works fine, but I lose all the advantages of live editing which is one of the biggest selling points Avada has to offer and the exact reason I bought it.
I’ve been talking to support for almost a week now and exchanged many messages with them, but unfortunately no advance has been made in terms of solving this issue. I’m becoming increasingly frustrated, 60 euros was a big investment for me as a student.
Please patch this. You have listed Firefox as a compatible browser on your Envato page, so I would except this to work. Firefox is the only browser I use for my work.
Thanks in advance!
