I thought this was going to be so simple, but it’s not. Using full width for my pages my header image spanned the content area and was tight up against the header. Perfect, but when I had to change to the default to allow for a sidebar the header image shrunk to just be in the content section, not full width as I wanted.

I went into the default editor and added the image, then added the CSS for it to be full width, but when I update the page Fusion Builder puts it in a new container and I’m back to it not being full width.

There must be a way to just use standard HTML for the image before Fusion takes over.

    Appreciate your help.

I think the standard solution for this is to use a slider.

If you dont want to use a slider, you can use an empty page title bar (without breadcrumbs etc) and put a background image on that.

Works like charm on my site: https://filmsucht.org/sin-city/

You are my hero, man! Worked like a charm, as you said. For the first time I had dealt with the third-party developer suggested by Theme Fusion and he had quoted me $690 USD to accomplish this with some very complex programming. You did it for FREE! Thank you! Thank you!

I might add that although I had never used Fusion Slider I tried that first. I created a slider then added a slide, but when I went to the page and tried to add a Fusion Slider no name came up to select. I just got a box to select a slider.

LayerSlider, of course, was the answer and now I’ll be busy creating sliders for all my page headers.

I had several back and forth emails with Tech Support and those guys are usually brilliant. I am surprised that no one suggested your solution.

Great, I’m happy to help. 🙂

    One last comment:

This sounds like you had different tabs open? If you create a slider (or a slide) in a different tab after youre opened a tab for creating a post, you have to refresh the tab with the post – then the slider should be displayed and selectable for you.

No. As I said I have never used Fusion Slider in all the years I’ve used Avada. I created the slide then created the slider, but when I created the slider I couldn’t see where to add the slide. Then when I went back to the page I selected Fusion Slider but then didn’t get any list of sliders.
