Hi 👋
I’m speeding up my website and I’m trying to understand why is the CSS is so heavy.
I am using very basic features and all unnecessary on builder elements disabled.
Anything else I can do to make things lighter?

WELCOME to Avada! Really great design tool, BUT HORRENDOUSLY HORRIBLE performance nightmare!

No matter how good your design is it makes no difference if your site takes so long to load no one ever sees it!

The Mobile is really, really, really, REALLY bad! Did I tell you how bad Mobile is?

Get used to it.

Worst problem of all is there are so many CSS and JS dependencies across elements that a customer trying to fix it is a USELESS exercise!

That size is not normal for sure, is there a possibility that you have custom CSS code inside your Avada Options > Custom CSS Tab? you have a valid support with us and should be able to open a support ticket without any issues, please do that and our team will gladly assist you further.
