Fusion slider takes FOREVER to show photo

Hi,
I have a web (www.alvarogonzalezfotografia.com) and it all starts with a Fusion Slider element that shows just one photo (500k photo, a little bit big I know but anyway it doesn’t justify the delay).
The problem is… I see the circle cycling… 3, 10, 20 seconds… and sometimes just forever and the image doesn’t show up.
am I doing something wrong? Should I change the slider to Layer Slider or just another one?
Please help I’m getting crazy about it.
