Hello, I am a bit new to Avada and Fusion. I inherited a site from another company and needed to update the Avada theme from 5.0 -> 5.6. Not surprisingly this broke a few different things on the site. The current issue I am running into is that there is no footer on the website.

It doesn’t appear to be a CSS issue as the HTML for the footer is not even in the inspector. Does anyone know some steps I can take to try to narrow down why this is happening?

I’m having the same issue…simply trying to add content to footer widgets via text or the custom html widgets, no content is showing, only the title if using the custom html widget. On the back-end…If you try to use the text widget, add some text and save, the content is deleted from the widget content box. What’s the fix for this???

I realized that my issue was coming from the child theme that had overwritten the footer code. Once removing that everything loaded fine.
