My sites have all missing Font Awesome icons (just showing an empty rectangle for all the icons) when I try to access them within Fusion Builder. Also when the site is live – it has missing Font Awesome icons.

I’ve cleared the Fusion Builder cache, toggled the Font Awesome settings within the Avada –> Theme Options menu.
I’m not sure if it’s a hosting issue or if I should try to reinstall Avada? Is there an original file location within the Avada Theme that contains all the standard Font Awesome icons (that I can upload the Font Awesome Icons to and point Avada to the right directory)?
Ultimately I’m looking for a way within Fusion Builder to fix the Font Awesome icons. Any help would be appreciated!

You need to reset the fusion cache. Then also try clearing your browser cache.

Avada > Theme Options > Performance > Reset Fusion Caches

Yes, I have tried that multiple times. I’ve referenced this article: https://theme-fusion.com/documentation/avada/how-to/fix-missing-font-awesome-icons-or-custom-fonts/

Is there a specific Avada file that specifies the path to the Font Awesome directory? if I manually download all the files from FontAwesome and “upload them to the Themes folder” via FTP would that restore the icons?

The font awesome file location in Avada is found: wp-content –> themes –> Avada –> includes –> lib –> fonts –> fontawesome

This is the example of what I see on my end (on all my three sites that are on a shared host):

What happens when you add a font manually to a page?

    <i class="fa fa-pencil" title="Edit"></i>

No icons populate after I manually insert that on the page – the page displays the exact same way that is written.

You have to insert into the html tab or use a code block not the default text editor.

Sorry – I inserted it in the HTML tab and it does show the pencil: https://ibb.co/7rF8yzZ

what would be the reason that the output (on the website) is able to display the icon but within the Avada theme, this appears: https://ibb.co/CV8f3jp Could it be a plugin conflict or a path issue?

Can you send me a link to one of your sites ?
I don’t see a way to send direct messages on here…

Here is an example on a test page: https://centeronaccesstechnology.com/test2/

I see the pencil and bell, the icon in the middle is empty.

Yes, that’s correct – do you know why that would be? all the fonts should be installed but are somehow not displaying correctly.

I would have to look at your settings. What’s your email? I’ll send you a meeting request.
