    WordPress/Aveda newbie. Does anyone know if featured images are required on pages? It seems to mess up the entire page design when added. They work fine for posts and portfolios. How Can I fix it so it doesn’t? Also, when I don’t have one it just grabs a random image from my page for SEO.

    Featured images are not required. If you don’t use one, the default SEO image and sharing image is typically the first image on the page. To fix this problem, use an SEO plugin (Yoast, RankMath, etc.) to assign the image you want to use.
