I’m building a landing page on a new site and I want the first container to be 100% height with a background that goes all the way up to the top.

In the page settings, I have:

    • Page: Content Padding: Top: 0 (so it can reach the top of the page)
    • Header: Display Header: Yes
    • Header: 100% Header Width: Yes (I want the logo to be on the top-left side)
    • Header: Background Opacity: 0.00 (I want the background image to fill the full first content, including behind the header

The problem is, when I’m viewing from a mobile device, the background no longer runs all the way up to the top and I am left with a white gap at the very top. Here are two screenshots to show you the desktop (looks right) and mobile view (not right). https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nTeZu9gKAK9ofpvIM3jxWedvzLFPqE2o/view?usp=sharing

If you would like to see the page in question, here are some credentials:

    URL: https://www.techvii.com/wp-admin
    Username: ThemeFusion Community
    Password: gzKT*RUeMwryq)T2hIIU9jYC
    Page: View homepage

I have a feeling it’s just because the site wants to show the full image and not just crop off the side a bit to full in the empty spaces, but I’m not quite sure how to manage that.

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Kind regards,
    -David

    Hi David,

On mobile the absolute positioned header is disabled. So on mobile it will just act as a regular header and push the content down under the header. However, in 5.7 (next release) a new option will be added so you can also have this effect on mobile. So once 5.7 arrives you will also be able to set this on mobile.

    Hi Michael,

Thank you so much for your response!

Is there a timeline on that update? I’m hoping to launch this landing page in the next few weeks, so I’ll just design the header accordingly if it’s going to take a while.

    I appreciate your support!

    Kind regards,
    -David
