So long story short, I have all my types of content as Posts, except static pages as Pages. Between Avada and Yoast, they provide features that allow this to make sense. I can create case studies, blog posts, videos, etc as Posts and then use Avada Layout Templates, and Yoast for archival page SEO, etc. All the reasons I see in articles as to why you would use a CPT are not an issue in my case.
Ultimately, I need to use Search & Filter Pro to filter on categories, more than once. I have learned that can’t be done, and you need to create custom taxonomies. I think that is overkill for this one need.
How many of you use CPT, despite the rich features of templating that Avada gives you, and what’s your rationale behind it?
I believe I shouldn’t have Custom Post Types, as I’m following the Keep-It-Simple method. Agree or disagree?+1 need the more rich feature for the unique blog.
Hi @brooke
If this helps. To disable the relevant CPT’s, do so in the Fusion builder settings -> https://d.pr/i/xEVZNZ
Thank you
