“Create New” has vanished from “Posts” menu on dashboard

Hello!

I wanted to create a new blog post today and when I went to my Avada dashboard I noticed that under “Posts” on the left menu had only two items, “Categories” and “Tags.” Neither “All Posts” nor “Add New” are visible under “Posts” any longer, which is very odd. I have no idea why but “All Posts” and “Add New” have disappeared, preventing me from creating new blog posts.

I also noticed that the “Pages” is missing from the left menu bar in Avada. This prevents me from creating new pages on my website apart from blog entries (my blog is just one menu choice/page for users of my site).

Can anyone tell me why such a thing might have happened? I don’t think it’s due to the plugins because I have not added any to my site — though I suppose an update of a plugin could be causing some unexpected issue. I last created a new post for my blog on May 4th, so not very long ago.
