    Hi, I am running a site that wants the portfolio working as a shopping cart, and they want this changed, Project Description, and Project Details to Product Description and Product Details.

    Please help,

    Thanks,

    Never mind, I used this,

    add_filter('gettext', 'translate_text');
    add_filter('ngettext', 'translate_text');
    function translate_text($translated) {
    $translated = str_ireplace( 'Project Details', 'Product Details', $translated );
    $translated = str_ireplace( 'Project Description', 'Product Description', $translated );
    return $translated;
    }

    Hi,
    Same question!
    In which file(s) have you done these modifications?
    Thanks

    Thanks Mevaser, it works well.
    Did you also manage to modify detail’s fields (URL, copyright, …)?

    (PS: unfortunately, doesnt work when written in the theme-child function.php)

    Concerning the DETAIL’s fields, I would replace “Project Url” by “Size”, “Copyright” by “Material”, … and add or suppress lines …

    Concerning the child-theme, I want to implement the modications lines in the function.php child-theme, in order to avoid a scratch after a theme udpdate. When I do it, I get “Project description” and “Project detail” again on the portfolio ….

    Thanks for your help!

    First, I added this to the functions.php in the child theme. So theoretically, this should work,

    add_filter('gettext', 'translate_text');
    add_filter('ngettext', 'translate_text');
    function translate_text($translated) {
    $translated = str_ireplace( 'Project Details', 'Product Details', $translated );
    $translated = str_ireplace( 'Project Description', 'Product Description', $translated );
    $translated = str_ireplace( 'Project URL', 'Size', $translated );
    $translated = str_ireplace( 'Copyright', 'Material', $translated );
    return $translated;
    }

    I added these two lines,

    $translated = str_ireplace( 'Project URL', 'Size', $translated );
    $translated = str_ireplace( 'Copyright', 'Material', $translated );

    Thank you so much! @mevaser Your solution works for me.
    This issue has been annoying me quite a while. Searched the whole internet but couldn’t find a solution.
    I even try changing the “related projects” to “related products” in the avada_function.php but did not work out.
    You’ve been a great help! Thanks!

    Thanks for the solution that you gave! It works perfect for me…

    The problem is that i am using it in a multilingual site. When i change language it remains the same.
    Is it possible to change it depending on language?
