Category archive & search page column number strange problem

I wonder if anyone has had this problem which is driving me crazy. My archive page is configured to 4 columns. It works great as seen here

But after a few hours it always breaks into 1 column as seen here
(the theme options still shows 4 columns selected, but the site only shows 1)
This is important because categories and tags are a big part of my site.

The only thing I could find out, is that apparently is a database row (in wp_options). I deleted a few ones of the last created and the issue was fixed (just for a few hours). The problem is that next time I deleted those same database files but the problem was NOT fixed, so I´m in the dark here.

I´m absolutely clueless about where to continue my search. I changed php version from 5.6 and 5.4 to 7.0 or 7.1 and vice versa, I de activated every single plug in. I even made a whole new test site in a free hosting site, but the problem was the same.

Any guide whatsoever will be greatly appreciated, thanks.
