    Can the version of Avada easily be determined from the downloadable zip file?

    If not, please consider including the version of Avada somewhere conspicuous in the downloadable zip file.

    No, not without opening the downloaded zip file and checking the included changelog.txt file. Good practice to revisit your downloads page at Envato each time a new theme version of Avada is released, then just do a save as appending the version number to your local copy.
