Avada Builder Plugin Won’t Activate, Avada Builder Plugin Won’t Update
This is a serious bug – all my websites are having this issue when I try to update them.

This seemed to work on a few on the websites, but not all of them.

1. Deactivate ALL plugins

2. Update “Avada Builder Plugin” FROM THE PLUGIN SCREEN. (it won’t work from within the Avada plugin page)

3. Activate “Avada Builder Plugin”.

4. Activate all your other plugins again.

From the hosting site (godaddy for me) I deleted the avada builder folder and then went back and activated and it worked.

Hello There

This issue can happen when the old plugin files are not being removed from your wp-content / plugins folder so the new files can not be copied, in order to solve this issue what you can do is simply remove the plugin files completely from Appearance > Plugin tab and then reinstall the plugin completely again once from the same tab.

Ran into this issue today with an older site that was updated to Avada 7.8.2

This method worked for me.

3. Activate “Avada Builder Plugin”.
4. Activate all your other plugins again.
