    First time using a Before/After element –

In one of my Avada theme portfolio pages the Before/After element seems to display to the full size of the container column which massively stretches/distorts the before/after images.

I ensured the 2 images were uploaded into the media library as “Full Size”. If I also include these 2 images as just separate basic Image Elements on the page (in the same column) they display at the proper size. I’ve also tried with putting the Before/After element within a Content Box and that has the same problem (element displays way too big).

I’ve gone through all the Before/After and Portfolio docs I can find and am finally at a loss.

    Any assistance/advice is most appreciated.

    Thanks !

P.S. I would have opened a support ticket on this issue but can’t at the moment since there seems to be an issue with my license although I still have 8 months valid support left.

    Hi,

This happened to me too first time I used it. I love this before/after element BTW.

I’ve put a couple of my before/afters in a 1/2 and 3/5 column depending on my image widths.

    Using a 1/2 Column

    Using a 3/5 Column

Try to avoid a 1/1 column.

And, always make sure your widths match up with your column widths as much as possible (not just for before/afters). I use this image size guide often https://www.elegantthemes.com/blog/divi-resources/the-ultimate-guide-to-using-images-within-divi
