A couple of months ago Avada moved to Flex layouts over DIV. The features have been great but our agency still has 100 websites using legacy containers. I was just curious if Avada will phase/ drop support for legacy layouts and force flex as the only option, especially if an optimisation updates are coming.

It would be great to get a heads up if that is the case so we can make sure all our websites work great with flex containers and are mobile responsive. Rather than the panic, we had with the registration change.

    Thanks

    Hi,

The legacy container setup will not be actively maintained any more. So expect better optimization and new features to apply to flex layouts and built headers/footers rather than the legacy options. In terms of completely dropping support though, we currently have no set plans for that and it definitely won’t be in the next release. I do recommend turning off legacy container support when you can though.

Note, for the registration change we did send out a blog post, social media posts and an eblast ahead of time.

    Thanks
