I cannot believe this. Avada started as a theme then slowly got built out to a full theme/page builder. They added serious support for the WordPress/Woocommerce eCommerce platforms and what probably is one if not the most important aspect of running an eCommerce business, the ability to integrate to a mail service has been left out, REALLY!!! This is why Elementor is gaining traction, they haven’t missed a beat in that regard, hence the reason why I have made the attempt at combining the two. Mind you I have had an incompatibility here or there. So, I have figured not to attempt to combine the two and so far so good.
I have tested the capability of popups and forms through Elementor, working alongside Avada, that are integrated with most mail services including Mailchimp (my mail subscriber). I wish the folks at themfusion would give this an urgent priority as the idea of having two-page builders working together is taking a risk that something may go seriously wrong, although Elementor says that it is compatible with Avada.
Cont’d:
Just to be absolutely clear, I do not attempt to build a page with both Elementor and Avada. I am still testing. So far where I need the mail service integration I use Elemntor otherwise I use Avada. If theme fusion completes our ability to run an eCommerce through the Avada theme/page builder then I would leave any other attempts at using Elementor. I have my local dev sites set up in wampserver and evaluating the Hello and Storefront theme with Elementor. I do not have the luxury of waiting too long.
If anyone still needs a solution. You can use Zapier.
1. Let Avada form send the submission to a Gmail account
2. Setup a zap which triggers on a new email in the gmail account. You can customize it on a specific title, and you can select the info you need in the e-mail to add the subscriber to Mailchimp.
Otherwise you could just make a form in Contact Form 7 and use the Contact Form 7 Extension For Mailchimp plugin to connect them.
Add me to the list. MailChimp PLEASE!
I am using Mailchimp for Woo Commerce (for the Newsletter opt in at checkout) so this creates a subscriber database in Mailchimp. For the Newsletter sign up panels site-wide, I then have to use Hub Spot, (which is the product Avada promote) so I am ending up with 2 subscriber databases. Anyone know of a way of using just one product?
