    Just now updated to Avada 7.1.

    Your social media icons / links options disappeared. No longer display on our website.

    Click here: http://prntscr.com/uubj83

    Path: Avada > Options > Social Media > Social Media Icons

    Please review and fix this ASAP!

    Thank you!

    Update:

    Thank goodness we back up our website every day. Many other website features broke after updating to Avada 7.1. We deprecated our website to Avada 7.0.2. Everything back to normal. We will not update to Avada 7.1 until Theme-Fusion straightens its mess.

    Hey,

    just try to redownload Avada from Themeforest and reinstall it. If the installation completes correctly, this should not happen.

    No mess going on here.

    Thanks

    @maximus80,

    Can you explain better how to do that? We are installing Avada updates via WordPress. If already installed, how do we re-install Avada using your method?

    Update: Just found the link for updating Avada from your site. Info provided by Ammar.

    Thank you.

    @maximus80,

    Above instructions are for new installations. How do we re-install Avada (as an update) if already installed using your instructions? (they need to be updated).

    Thank you.

    Hello @jetxpert-Envato

    You do that by removing Avada first, the step by step guide is below.

    1. Make a complete backup.
    2. Change to default WP 2020 theme.
    3. Select Avada from Appearance > Themes section and delete it.
    4. Also deactivate and delete your Avada Core and Builder plugins.
    5. Install a freshly downloaded copy of Avada from ThemeForest using this method mentioned in our document post => https://theme-fusion.com/documentation/avada/installation-maintenance/how-to-install-avada-via-wordpress/

    Thanks

    Hi Ammar,

    Perfect. Thank you. Can you guys update your link to incorporate the instructions you provided above? (will help the community)

    Cheers!

    PS: We updated Avada from a back-up (7.0.2 to 7.1) using WordPress and it fixed our issue. Again, thank you.
