    Hello,

I have an issue with the home page on a website I am working on:

    https://jardininfantilacademy.com/

The slider located above the header is not responsive on mobile devices.

The mobile device will show the slider images being cropped.

If anyone has any thoughts or questions about the issue, that would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello @OliverP25

That is how the background images are supposed to work actually which are used by Avada Slider, they are set to Cover so they will cover the entire area of your content on every resolution, however in this case some minor clipping is bound to happen to keep the aspect ratio of the image true, this is how its always been for our theme or for any background image you use actually.

You can try using Revolution Slider instead in this case that we also provide with Avada.

If you want to go for a custom solution you can simply create a new image that fits the mobile resolution and then assign it using custom CSS by targeting the media query.

Avada contains a plethora of options that allow you to customize the style of the theme without any coding knowledge. But even our large amount of options cannot cover everything. This request you have will require custom CSS. While we can offer minor custom CSS requests at times, this falls outside of what we can provide.

However we have some great resources for you! This post below explains how to use custom CSS with any of our shortcodes, and also gives you two of the most popular browser developer tools to find the correct selectors; Firebug and Chrome Developer tools. There are video tutorial links in it as well.
