    I have recently updated my Avada Theme from 5.3 to 5.6. After doing so, all the text from my ‘Product’ Pages disappears. After running the update I also updated all the necessary Plugins and Patches etc. After the update, the Product Page correctly displays the Image Gallery on the left hand side of the page, but everything on the right hand side fails to display. I have reverted to a backup so I am currently running version 5.3, hence there’s no issues at the moment. One of my product Pages can be seen here.

    I have had the exact same problem but I was on a much more recent version of Avada.
    I am trying to restore from backup. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Everything was wiped from ours when we upgrade and support closed my ticket when I requested help.

    I am re-sending your reply, please be sure to check your email inbox and reply in turn. In terms of the issue you experienced:

    “An error during update process: PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature”

    That error comes from your web server and not the actual update process. It could be that the servers disk space quota is full or the memory is low, this will need to be checked. For now, uploading the unzipped theme files will complete the update correctly, which we can help you with as soon as we have the correct access.

    What needs to be clarified and understood is that a regular theme update process only updates the actual theme files on the web server. The database is not touched, thereby, your stored serialized page/post content and theme settings etc remain untouched.

    Rule of thumb and one of the reasons why we provide comprehensive and detailed update instructions, is for it to ensure updates are seamless. After you had updated, did you purge your caches? Are you running a child theme with modified files? Check them if you are. The theme update does not and cannot in itself, alter the actual Woocommerce product page/post content.

    I am going to re-post the theme update instructions here, be sure to go through them. As good practice and with the intention of keeping your site maintained, when a 3rd party plugin update is due, apply it. When a WordPress update is due, apply the update. When a theme update is due, apply the theme update. Do not wait 3/6/12/18 months before updating your assets. This is imperative.

    Something else that is important is to also ensure any patches that our team releases between update cycles are applied as part of ongoing maintenance for your install and always clear your cache plugins post update

    I did purge my caches before and after the update and I am not running a child theme.

    I am going to read through the instructions you kindly provided again and have another go!
