Hello there! I’ve a question about Avada cookie banner and GDPR: I’ve 3 kinds of cookies: Necessaries, Tracking Codes e Facebook (I guess Facebook Pixel is “under” Facebook option right?). So basically, Tracking and Facebook are unchecked by default, since for law user must check the box. But when people see the banner they onviously only clic on the “OK” button, they don’t check the settngs and check the boxes. The most useful thing would be that the OK button would be transformed in “Accept all cookies” and clicking it, by default, user “check” the cookies.

    Any suggestion?

    Good request.
I just saw that not all check boxes are activated when you click on the “Privacy Bar” on accept.
I would also be very happy if you can choose that if you click on accept in the “Privacy Bar”, then all “Privacy Consent Types” will be activated and accepted. Every website operator wants visitors to give their permission.

In the “Privacy Bar” it should be possible to either accept everything or to make individual settings if you don’t want to accept everything.
That is the logical view, which is also legally correct. (Borland Cookie is a plugin praised by lawyers in Germany and they do the same.)
From a legal point of view, “everything” should be deactivated on the first visit and after accepting all cookies should be allowed to be loaded or the visitor must be able to make their own settings.
You have to let the visitor choose what would be given here in any case. With “Privacy Bar Settings” the individual settings have to be accepted.

I would be very happy if this will be taken into account in a next update.

Avada does have an option to have the cookies deselected and the users can even select what cookies they want to enable

I would suggest enabled privacy settings, Screenshot here → http://tinyurl.com/ybodl8jx and you can keep the pre-selected consent empty, Screenshot here → http://tinyurl.com/y7r27kq7
