Google Fonts in Privacy section are by default set to local but in some cases when you install the demo/prebuilt website the Google fonts and Font Awesome do not download to the local server so will not render. To fix this issue.
After installing the demo/prebuilt website go to:
Avada > Global Options > Privacy and set Google & Font Awesome Fonts Mode to ‘CDN’.
Confirm that the fonts and icons are rendering properly.
You can leave it Google & Font Awesome Fonts Mode to ‘CDN’ if you don’t encounter any issues, which technically speaking I think shouldn’t happen in most cases.
But if think having the Google fonts and Font Awesome icons to live on your local server is the best for you then you can go ahead and change the above settings back to Local:
Avada > Global Options > Privacy and set Google & Font Awesome Fonts Mode to ‘Local’
