Avada Registration Q and A
New for the forthcoming release of Avada 7.3 is an improved, streamlined registration method that makes it possible for you to start building your new Avada website even faster. It will no longer be required to generate an Envato token key to register your Avada website; instead, copy the license code and add it to the Avada Dashboard registration field. Please continue reading below for more detailed information and answers to commonly asked questions.
Login to your Themeforest marketplace account (themeforest.net) and navigate to the ‘Downloads’ section, or if you have just purchased the Avada theme check your email inbox for the Envato email purchase confirmation that does include the item purchase code -> Click here to see the download page.
If you have updated to Avada 7.3 and have not yet re-registered your Avada website with a purchase code as explained in this help file, the Envato token key will only continue to be valid for an additional ten (10) days.
Once the ten (10) days are concluded, the Envato token key will be rendered invalid. This will not cause your site to break or to stop functioning normally. However, you will be required to register the website with a purchase code.

From Avada 7.3 and beyond, a token key is no longer required and will not work for registration purposes. For any Avada website older than version 7.3, the token key used for registration will continue to work until the website is updated to Avada 7.3 or beyond.
Log into your support account, and navigate to the purchase codes tab.
You can change domains at any time. However, to ensure that the website is actively registered, please follow these steps:
Before you switch domains, first deregister the purchase code inside of the Avada Dashboard.
After the domain has been switched, reregister the purchase code inside of the Avada Dashboard.
Yes, per license, you can use one dedicated staging site. If the domain you are working on matches one of the patterns below, our system will automatically register it as staging site. Domains that match none of these patterns currently won’t qualify as staging sites. In such a case you can contact us, and if your setup is likely to be used by other customers, we’ll certainly consider adding an exception.

Yes, you can, at an Avada support level. To clarify, whoever purchases the theme license via Themeforest, is the rightful owner of the license. According to Envato, the ownership of a license can’t be transferred between individuals or marketplace accounts. At an Avada support level, the following scenarios are possible:
- If you have not registered the purchase code within your support Dashboard, you can request that your customer registers a support account using the provided license code, and by following these instructions.
- If you have already registered a purchase code within your support account and would like to pass it on to your client so that they can register their own support account, you can deregister the purchase code from within your support Dashboard.
To ensure that:

- You will receive access to all future prebuilt websites that are released.
- You can set up a Staging site for each Avada license you own for testing purposes.
