How To Revert Back To Default WordPress Image Quality

Avada uses higher quality images, a full 100%. Default Wordpress image quality is set at 90%. This can cause a larger image size at times, although its not a big difference. If you wish to revert back to the default 90%, please follow the steps below.

Step 1 - Edit Avada/functions.php and delete the following code from it:

Copy to Clipboard

Step 2 - Then use Regenerate Thumbnails plugin to regenerate your thumbnails. This step must be done, and also clear your cache.

Please note this is a customization that is outside of what we can provide for theme support. If you perform the customization, you will need to maintain the changes for future updates and also be able to troubleshoot any issues that arise. Thank you.
