Enabling AJAX Submit in GravityForms

07/08/2018

When using a GravityForms form inside a modal window, you will notice that upon clicking the submit button, the page will reload and the user won't receive either the error or success message. This is standard web browser behavior, however, there is a way around this. The form must be submitted via an AJAX call and the developers of GravityForms were kind enough to include this option with their plugin.

When using a shortcode, please include the ajax=true parameter, example:

Copy to Clipboard

This will perform the submit via an AJAX call and return the message to the user without reloading the page.
