Today’s churches share much in common with their counterparts hundreds of years ago, but in other ways they’ve had to change with the times. More and more churches are modernizing by building their own online presences – attracting members and serving their communities through websites, social media, and other methods. The Bay Area Christian Church (BACC) of Palo Alto, California is one such organization – making smart use of current technology to spread a long-standing message.
As our world has become increasingly digital, traditional educational institutions have had to adapt. Colleges and universities rely on their websites to attract new registrants, provide important services to existing students, and keep alumni engaged with the school. The University of Hawaii Maui College website handles all of these tasks and more, all while maintaining a user-friendly and visually compelling design.
With Canada’s church attendances falling over the past few years, young people in particular have been questioning their faith more than ever. With a real need to reach out to young doubters, indoubt has crafted a purely online approach to religious outreach – utilizing a beautifully customized, Avada child theme along with modern methods such as video and social media to engage with young people.
In 2017 Avada has once again done the unthinkable and grown its user base to an astounding number of over 300,000 users. Avada’s continued growth is both humbling and rewarding for our team. We’ve come a long way since 2012 when Avada was born, and are now heading into our 5th year with more excitement and momentum than ever!
